Shaping the Profession of Medical Illustration
The Association of Medical Illustrators is proud to launch a new initiative dedicated to highlighting the members who are advancing the profession of medical illustration.
From groundbreaking visuals that advance science and medicine to creative projects that educate, inspire, and connect, AMI members are making an impact every day. This series shares those stories and achievements across our platforms to showcase the talent, dedication, and diversity driving the field forward.
Some time ago, the AMI Social Media & Outreach Committee put out a call on the Member Hub for members to share their experiences in the field. Several members volunteered and participated in in-depth interviews—the first features in what is now Stories that Shape the Profession. Future highlights will be shorter, accessible features that continue to spotlight the ways members are shaping and advancing the profession.
There are two easy ways to get involved:
1. Share Your Story – Member Highlight tells us about your path in medical illustration, what inspires your work, and what being part of AMI means to you. Selected submissions will be featured on AMI’s social media channels throughout the year.
2. Share Your Achievements – Awards & Recognition have you recently received a professional award, honor, or recognition? Submit it to showcase how your work is advancing the profession.
This series demonstrates the impact AMI members have on the profession, showcasing the innovations and contributions that are shaping the field worldwide.
