AMI Salon Judge
The AMI Exhibits Committee and Judging Task Force is seeking professional and emeritus members to serve as judges for the 2026 Annual Salon.
There are both online and on-site judging options available for 2026! Judges may participate in online judging only, or both online and on-site judging at the AMI Annual Conference in Madison, Wisconsin.
- Online Judging: Please plan to allocate several hours during the online judging period (June 24 - July 15) to review artwork and meet with your judging group. Online judging will be done through the Award Force platform to streamline the process.
- Online and On-site Judging: Judging will be conducted and finalized online for most categories. However, judging will be finalized onsite for the following categories: E. Illustrated Text (Traditionally printed book), G4b. Interactive Gaming (Physical, Tabletop), and H. Simulators, Prosthetics and Sculptural Products. If you are interested in judging any of these categories, please sign up and plan to be onsite Wednesday, July 29 from 2:30-4:30 pm. If you’re unable to arrive a day early or prefer to attend a workshop, you may coordinate an alternate judging time with your group on Thursday, July 30.
Submit Your Interest Here by Monday, June 1
Please note: On-site judging also requires online judging during the pre-judging period (June 24 - July 15). Only Professional and Emeritus members of the AMI may serve as a Salon Judge. The Exhibits Committee hosts a virtual training call with all judges prior to the online judging period to review the scoring process and rubrics.
