Selection Committee Members Needed for the Trailblazer and Innovation Awards
The Awards Committee is excited to introduce two new awards for the AMI and are looking for volunteers to participate in the selection process! Please submit your interest by Friday, November 14 to participate. Each Selection Committee will review materials and meet to discuss nominations before voting. There are a limited number of spots available for each committee. - The Trailblazer Award is intended to recognize early-career professional medical/scientific illustrators within the first 10 years of practice who have made an impact through significant contributions to the field through their work, leadership and mentorship, and services to the medical and scientific community.
- The Innovation Award will recognize a person or group's impactful contribution (such as a specific project or initiative) to the field of medical/scientific communication within the last 5 years.
Nominations will open up for both awards in November. AMI membership is not required in order to be a recipient of either award, and both self-nominations and nominations by others will be accepted. If you are on a selection committee, please note that you may submit a nomination for another person, but you may not submit a self-nomination.
